An illegal immigrant caused the death of three people after making a U-turn in a prohibited area on a highway in Florida (US) last week.
The man, identified as Harjinder Singh, was driving a truck on the Florida Turnpike when he decided to make a U-turn in a restricted area.
After making a sharp turn, he ended up blocking all lanes. This is when a black minivan collided with the truck, as there was no way to stop or move aside.

Photos from the crash site showed the minivan completely destroyed. The side of the van was completely torn apart, while the roof was ripped off and crushed over the trunk, and pieces of the vehicle were scattered across the road.
Footage taken from a camera on the truck’s dashboard showed Singh appearing completely unfazed by the violence unfolding on the highway. His expression remained unchanged as he parked the truck and turned off the engine.

Two passengers in the minivan died instantly, while the driver was rescued from the wreckage alive. He was taken to a nearby hospital but was later declared dead due to his injuries.
The names of the victims have not been released, but it was confirmed that they were a 37-year-old woman from Pompano Beach, a 30-year-old man from Florida City, and a 54-year-old man from Miami, according to the Treasure Coast Newspapers.
Singh was arrested and now faces three charges of involuntary manslaughter. According to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Singh had been living illegally in the US since 2018 when he crossed the Mexican border.
It is still unclear what Singh’s country of origin is, but if he is convicted, he will likely serve his sentence in Florida before being deported.
